Solar Drip

Description

INFYTEL Drip irrigation is a type of micro-irrigation system that has the potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either from above the soil surface or buried below the surface. The goal is to place water directly into the root zone and minimize evaporation. Drip irrigation is also known as trickle irrigation or micro irrigation, is an irrigation method that saves water and fertilizer by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of plants, either into the soil surface or directly into the root zone, through a network of valves, pipes, tubing, and emitters.

  • Pump to lift water
  • Solar panel and controller to power the system
  • A head tank to store the water and maintain a pressure head of 5 to 7 m
  • Filter systems
  • Central distribution system
  • Mains and secondary lines
  • Trickle lines
  • plastic nozzeles

Components are long lasting and comes with quality

Filter:

To filter water in order to remove impurities from water.
Types are sand media filters, screen filters, disk type filters chemical injectors :
  • Maintenance
  • Supply nutrients
  • Acid:Prevent calcium precipitation
  • Chlorine
  • Control biological activity: algae and bacterial slime
  • Deliberately precipitate iron
Emitters:

These connect to the tubing or can be inside the tubing and deliver water at a slow, consistent rate, usually 0.5,1,2 gallons per hour.

Pump and Panel:

Solar powered pump to uplift the water and allow to distribute it via channels. water sensing measurements are in both side to minimize the misuse of water

Nozzels:

The part which control the output and use avalve to maintain the flow. Its durable and resistance of clogging.

Distribution systems:

Rigid PVC and high density polyethylene pipes are used as main pipes are used as main pipes to minimized corrosin and clogging. pipes of 65 mm diameter and with presure rating of 4 to 10 kg/sq.cm

ABOUT INFYTEL SPRINKLER

Sprinkler irrigation is a method of applying irrigation water which is similar to rainfall. water is distributerd through a system of pipes ususlly by pumping at presure above 2 kg/cm2. It is then sprayed into the air and irrigated entire soil surface through spray heads so that it breaks up into small water drops which fall to the ground. Pressurized irrigation throuh devices called sprinklers.

SPRINKLER OPERATION AND PERFORMANCE

Diameter of Coverage

*Maximum diameter wetted by the sprinkler at a rate that is significant for the intended use
*Depends on operating pressure and sprinkler and nozzele design (including trajectory angle)

Sprinkler distribution for at different operating pressure

ADVANTAGES OF SPRINKLER IRRIGATION SYSTEM

  • Sprinkler irrigation does not require surface of leveling.
  • Can be applied to areas of variable topography.
  • Flexibility is possible because spinkler heads are available in a wide range of discharge capacities.
  • Cost of labour is generally reduced.
  • Erosion of soil can be eliminated.
  • Chemical and fertilizer applications are easily used with sprinkler systems.
  • No special skills trained personal can operate the system reasonably well.
